West Scranton Students Earn Foreign Language Poetry Awards
Sophomores Nathalie Diaz and Nathan Trotta were the first place winners in the annual Spanish poetry reading contest conducted in the Spanish 2 classes of Mrs. Linda Cerra at West Scranton High School. Each winner was presented with a silver cup.
Nathalie is the granddaughter of Demaris Diaz and Antonio Bossio. She is also a member of the Varsity track team.
Nathan is the son of Melissa Trotta and Fred Demich. He is a member of the art club and the Spanish club. He also wrestles on the Varsity Wrestling Team.
