Students from the John G. Whittier Elementary School in South Scranton created Thanksgiving greeting cards for patients of Hospice of the Sacred Heart. The art project was under the supervision of art instructor Sarah Strong and Whittier principal Tim Wolfe. The cards are included with meals that are prepared by Mansour’s Market, then packaged and delivered by hospice staff members and volunteers on Thanksgiving Day.

“These young people are learning valuable lessons about giving thanks and caring for others. We appreciate their artistic talents and know that our patients will be delighted to read the
personal messages included in the greeting cards,” said Diane Baldi, CEO, Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
