West Scranton Student Raises Funds for Northeast Regional Autism Center

West Scranton junior Leo Ciullo is a member of the planning committee for the upcoming roast of former Invaders football coach Joe DeAntona.  The roast, which will be held on May 15, is to benefit the Northeast Regional Autism Center at Friendship House.  As part of his graduation project, Leo participated in the planning of the roast as a committee member, and organized a dress-down day fundraiser at West Scranton High School to contribute money to the Northeast Regional Autism Center.  Leo and his fellow teammates on the West Scranton varsity football team collected over $600 for the cause from the students and staff of West Scranton High School.

The Coach Joe DeAntona Roast will be held at 7:00 pm at St. Mary’s Center on Mifflin Ave. in Scranton on Friday, May 15.  Tickets are $55, and proceeds will support the Northeast Regional Autism Center at Friendship House.
