West Scranton Student Performs in Shakespeare’s Macbeth
On Friday, January 27, the United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA partnered with the REV Theatre Company to present William Shakespeare’s Macbeth at the Oppenheim Center for the Arts. West Scranton freshman Kayla Chofey was featured prominently in this production in the lead role of Lady Macbeth. Kayla has also participated in pervious Shakespeare productions at the Oppenheim Center for the Arts, including Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The January 27 production was free to the public, and introduced a packed house to one of Shakespeare’s most famous and notorious plays.
