West Scranton Senior Chosen as Runner-Up Winner in National “Drive 2 Life” Contest

Scholastic Magazine selected West Scranton High School senior Bryce Yanni as a Runner-Up Winner in the nationwide “Drive 2 Life” Student Contest.

Scholastic National Partnerships working with The National Road Safety Foundation (NRSF) on the “Drive 2 Life” program, which includes a public service announcement (PSA) contest for students in grades 6-12.

This year, students were challenged to submit an innovative storyboard or script for a public service announcement (PSA) to help prevent distracted walking. Bryce won a $500 scholarship, and as his teacher, Mrs. Angela Franek will receive a classroom subscription to a magazine from Scholastic.

This is the 4th year in a row that students at West Scranton have placed in the nationwide PSA Contest.
