Science Students Collect for Those in Need

Students from Mr. Wahl’s and Mrs. O’Brien’s Biological Science classes at West Scranton High School collected and assembled care packages for those less fortunate to be distributed by the Community Intervention Center and the St. Francis Soup Kitchen. Students reflected upon what it might be like to go without such necessities as warm socks and tooth brushes. Students also collected hats and gloves to be distributed within SSD elementary schools and lotion for the NEPA Youth Shelter.
