West Scranton Participates in 2015 Bridge Building Competition

West Scranton High School students competed at the Northeast Pennsylvania Regional Bridge Building Competition on Saturday, February 21^st at the Viewmont Mall. Outside of class time, students spent hours designing and testing bridges before entering the competition, adjusting their plans to meet the very strict criteria of the contest. The students then personally loaded up their bridges with as much as 650 times the bridge’s weight, to push their designs to collapse.
