West Scranton High School Club Fair Welcomes West Intermediate Students

On Wednesday, May 8, West Scranton High School held a Club Fair in the high school’s gymnasium for the eighth grade student body of West Scranton Intermediate School.  The fair was part of West Scranton’s “Build an Invader” program, the purpose of which is to welcome incoming students to the high school community.  The fair featured all of the clubs, sports, electives, and extracurricular activities available at West.  It was an opportunity to encourage participation in activities outside the classroom.  It was also a chance for incoming students to experience what high school has to offer, and to be welcomed by the high school’s upperclassmen.

More than 60 West Scranton High School students participated – moderating the event and answering questions about the various clubs, sports, and activities.
