West Scranton Donates to St. Jude’s for National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
 The month of September was National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.   During this time, the West Scranton High School P.R.I.D.E. Team spearheaded a collection drive to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Members of the West Scranton student body and community donated items used to make waiting room activity bags, which would be given to the children and teens visiting St. Jude’s Hospital for treatment.  The students were able to fill approximately 100 individual bags containing items such as coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, markers, stickers, games, and activities for the patients at St. Jude’s.
