Valley View High School presents the first annual Lackawanna County Family STEM Night on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 5pm-8pm sponsored by United Way. This event is specifically designed for middle school students in the 6th through 8th grades and their parents. A committed group of girls from school districts in the county are working diligently on fun and innovative activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math that promote creative problem solving, teamwork and communication skills. Students will learn how to program a sphero robot and design their very own electrical paper circuit. If interested, please visit the Valley View webpage and read more details about the event on the flyer. Signups will be held starting on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 12pm until the end of the week. There are a limited number of seats and registration does not guarantee a spot. Admission is free and food will be provided free of cost. The girls leadership team looks forward to working with you!
