The Business Education Partnership (BEP) is a grant awarded through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry to connect Local Workforce Development Boards to area schools. The BEP falls under Gov. Wolf’s initiative to tie in opportunities and exploration of in-demand technical careers to Pennsylvania students grades K-12. Lackawanna County Workforce Development Board’s Project Manager, Maria Bernardo has partnered with Valley View High School in order to deliver Soft Skills Development to their 10th grade class.
