3 students from Valley View High School qualified for the PMEA District 9 Band Festival which will be held at Pittston Area on January 24th – 26th. The students that qualified (pictured below, listed left to right) are Mia Mercatili on Clarinet, Beatrice Chindemi on Trombone, and Micayla Matamoros on Clarinet. They will represent Valley View among 32 different school districts and compete for a chance to move on to regionals.
