Ian Kovatch has been selected as Valley View High School’s Hugh O’Brien Youth Leader for the 2018-2019 school year. He will join more than 250 high school sophomores across the state of Pennsylvania at the State Leadership Conference for 3-4 days at Shippensburg University in the Spring, 2019. HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation. He will explore leadership from different perspectives: individual, group, and society and will cultivate his leadership skills through fun, interactive workshops. Upon his return, Ian will return with increased skills and inspiration to take action for increased programming at Valley View High School, our school communities and the world.
