Valley View High School Veterans Day Presentation on November 9, 2016

Valley View High School invited Veterans to join them on November 9, 2016 for a lunch and presentation of “The Last Thoughts of Gino Merli.”   Veterans were treated to a lunch provide by the Valley View Gourmet Foods students under the direction of Mr. Pete Kolankoski.  After lunch the veterans along with the high school students and faculty attended a presentation “The Last Thoughts of Gino Merli” by Tom Flannery.  Members of the Valley View History Club under the direction of Nicole Zeiss, designed t-shirt in honor of Veterans Day with V.V. supports our flag, our Veterans, and our nation on the front of the shirt and the iconic image of the flag raising at Iwo Jima on the back.   All proceeds from the shirt sale will go to local veterans organizations.
