On April 15, 2015, Ryan Wilkes signed his letter of intent to continue his Division I athletic track & field and academic career at The University of Rhode Island. Ryan has many awards and honors, the most recent include: 1st Team All-State Outdoor Track and Field 2014, 1st Team All-State Indoor Track and Field 2014, Robert Spagna League Champion in 2012, 2013, and 2014, District 2 Champion in 2013, 2014 and 5th place finish in 2012, Division 1 All-Star in 2012, 2013, 2014, PIAA Champion in 2014 and 5th place finish in 2013, PTFCA Indoor State Champion in 2014 and Runner-up in 2013, New Balance Indoor Nationals All-American and 4th Place finish in 2015, Times-Tribune All-Regional in 2013 and 2104, Times-Tribune Male Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2014, District 2 record holder at 15′, School Outdoor Record Holder at 15’6, Indoor School Record Holder at 16’6 (Ranks #2 all-time in PA)
