Students in Mrs. Molly Callahan’s high school art classes have been participating in a variety of community service projects this summer. Over Christmas, students created a tree display for the Electric City Trolley Museum’s Festival of Trees. Their Three Little Pigs-inspired tree took home first place in the competition, which benefited Toys for Tots.
Additionally, students have been hand painting stemware for the 10th annual Pink Elegance on Parade which takes place on Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Radisson. All proceeds from the sale of the glasses will benefit Susan G. Komen of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
