Valley View Kindergarten students’ hosted an Alex’s Lemonade Stand during kindergarten registration. For the three days of registration, the students sold lemonade to future kindergarten students for one dollar a cup to raise money for childhood cancer research. The students worked the stand in one hour intervals in groups of two with adult supervision while the other students remained in our classroom working. They charted their progress, and they were very excited to surpass their goal of 100 dollars, making 170 dollars.
