Recently, ten Western Wayne High School students enrolled in the Business Law class of Ms. Theresa Lubash participated in a field trip to the Wayne County Courthouse and the Wayne County Correctional Facility.
Students were first greeted by Wayne County Coroner, Edward Howell, who took the students on a guided tour of the building. Then, they had the opportunity to witness the sentencing of several offenders in President Judge Raymond L. Hamill’s courtroom. After the sentencings, the students had the opportunity to speak with Judge Hamill, who answered their legal questions about the cases they saw.
