The Shenandoah Valley National Honor Society sponsored a Dress down Day as part of their observance of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event was coordinated by National Honor Society advisers Melissa Kayes & Elizabeth Andrefski along with students Tyler Marnell & John Storm raised $200 which was presented to Jamie Mariani, a representative of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization committed to educating people about the causes and treatment of breast cancer and funding research to discover a cure. The students, who are members of the Blue Devil football team, also presented a check on behalf of the Shenandoah Quarterback Club which raised $400 by selling Pink Cancer Awareness T Shirts.  Shown in photo (L-R): Tyler Marnell, Jamie Mariani, and John Storm.
