Charles Dickens’ “Christmas Carol”

A group of Shenandoah Valley students who are members of the Drama Club and Student Council comprised the cast which presented Vignettes of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” which they performed in the Gazebo located in the American Legion Memorial Garden. The annual community event sponsored by Downtown Shenandoah Inc. brings both children and adults to the downtown where they can see the show, ride a horse drawn trolley, hear festive music performed by the Shenandoah Valley Brass Band and Christmas Carols sung by the SV Choral group & partake in a variety of tasty cookies and hot chocolate. The free event was coordinated by Main Street Manager Mary Luscavage with student participation under the direction on SV faculty members Anne Taylor and Walter Choplick.
