With the help of the Wayne County Ford dealership in Honesdale, the students organized, promoted and held a one-day Ford test drive event for the surrounding community. For every qualified test drive that was completed at the event, Ford donated $20 to the school, with a goal of raising up to $6,000 total.
The money raised through this activity will be used by the FBLA members to help finance their upcoming trip to the National Leadership Conference in Chicago to participate in a variety of competitive events. Meanwhile, the Junior Academy students will use their share of the money to finance attendance at their regional and state competitions.
