Scranton High School Sophomore Jessica Tassey, trumpet, and Senior Gerardo Marengo, flute, participated in the PMEA Region Band festival at Southern Columbia High School, which was held March 23 – 25. Gerardo Marengo placed 1st on his part, and will be moving on to the All State Festival, being held in Erie, April 19 – 22. He had been selected as a member of the All State Wind Ensemble.
