Riverside Junior Senior High School students volunteered at the Leukemia Walk

Riverside Junior Senior High School students, under the direction of District Librarian, Ms. Maria Voytko, volunteered at the Leukemia Walk (Light the Night Walk) on Saturday, October 3^rd. Team Riverside was responsible for making and displaying the Commemorative Stars for all of NEPA. The Stars display the names of those who, unfortunately, have been touched by cancer.

I spoke to Jaime about her experience and she said “It was so beautiful to see the white lanterns representing all the people who had survived cancer”
