Recently, several members of the Western Wayne High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter captured awards at the organization’s annual State Leadership Conference in Hershey, PA.

Recently, several members of the Western Wayne High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter captured awards at the organization’s annual State Leadership Conference in Hershey, PA.

Jacob Karnick placed first, Madison Kornutiak, placed second, and Kelly DeVito placed 10^th in the FBLA Principles & Procedures event.  More than 90 students from across the state participated in this highly competitive event, which tested students on their understanding of the history, programs, scholarships, competitive events, and bylaws of the FBLA organization.

Both Karnick and Kornutiak will advance to national-level competition in Chicago, IL in late June.  Advising this WW group is business teacher, Ms. Theresa Lubash.
