The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) is a statewide organization of junior and senior high school students designed to stimulate and promote interest in science among its members through the development of research projects and investigations. Old Forge School District had eleven students that participated this year.

Hannah Lisowski, Cassandra Nocera, Ashley Bound, Amanda Katchmar all received 1st awards and will be attending states in May at PSU. Amanda Katchmar received a perfect score.
Scarlett Spager was awarded a scholarship to King’s College and Maricruz Saucedo was awarded a scholarship to Marywood University and also a week long fellowship to Geisinger Medical College through PJAS.
