MMI to hold Visitation Night on November 15

(Freeland, PA – October 31, 2017) – MMI Preparatory School will hold its fall Visitation Night on Wednesday, Nov. 15, starting at 6 p.m. where families can learn more about an MMI education and the advantages the school offers for their children. Visitation Night gives students and parents an opportunity to come to MMI and explore the campus.

Families will learn about MMI’s proven record of success with preparing students for college and beyond. They will also get details about the school’s curriculum, which includes Advanced Placement classes, financial aid, athletics and extracurricular activities. The school will offer light refreshments.  Families will also have the opportunity to talk with current students, parents, faculty, and staff.

The event will begin with a presentation by the school’s administration. Families of children entering sixth, seventh and eighth grade next year are encouraged to explore the value of an MMI Middle School education since several of the upper grade levels had wait lists last year.

One important aspect of MMI is the value and affordability of an independent school education. “This year, more than 50 percent of MMI students received need-based financial aid. Now, students can also earn a full academic scholarship to help with tuition costs based upon their performance on the entrance exam, which prospective students can take on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018,” said MMI Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing Marci Hosier.

Anyone who is considering an MMI education for his or her child is encouraged to attend. Those planning to attend Visitation Night are asked to register and should arrive by 5:45 p.m. the night of the event.   To register, or for more information, contact Hosier at 570-636-1108 or visit www.mmiprep.org.
