MMI seniors named Wendy’s High School Heisman outstanding scholar athletes
(Freeland, PA – November 3, 2016) – MMI student-athletes Dana Carrato and Garrett Kost were recently named the school’s winners for the prestigious Wendy’s High School Heisman award which highlights exceptional high school seniors and their achievements in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.
Dana Carrato is the daughter of Dr. Anthony and Carmine Carrato of Hazleton.
Garrett Kost is the son of Joseph and Natalie Kost of Freeland.
“Dana and Garrett are known by their teachers and friends for their commitment to excellence. We are excited and honored that a program like Wendy’s High School Heisman is also recognizing their hard work,” said MMI Athletic Director Jason Tribbet.
