Aaron Harman participates in PMEA District 9 Jazz Festival

 

(Freeland, PA – May 5, 2015) – MMI Preparatory School freshman trombone player Aaron Harman recently participated in the Pennsylvania Music Education Association’s (PMEA) District 9 Jazz Festival.

Students in grades 9-12 spent the first day of the two-day event in rehearsal at Forest City High School and performed the following evening at The Scranton Cultural Center. The PMEA’s District 9 is comprised of schools in Wayne, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Lackawanna, and Luzerne counties.

Harman, the son of Ronald and Yvonne Harman of Drums, took part in the inaugural PMEA District 9 Ninth Grade Honors Band at Marywood University last December.
