Marywood University’s Speech and Hearing Club Participated in Alzheimer’s Walk

 

SCRANTON, PA (October 26, 2016)— Members of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Marywood Chapter (Speech and Hearing Club), recently participated in the two-mile Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, which was held at the PNC Field. The walk raised over $100,000 through the efforts of the more than 700 participants.

 

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions of people affected by the disease.
