Marywood University’s Environmental Health Class Presents Research Papers to Representative Matthew Cartwright
SCRANTON, PA (December 2, 2015)—Marywood University’s environmental health class, taught by Robin P. Ertl, Ph.D., assistant professor of science, instructed students to find an environmental issue they were passionate about, develop a proposed governmental solution to the problem, and then present their proposals to Congressman Matthew Cartwright, Representative for Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District. In response, Mr. Cartwright informed attendees on the political reality of addressing those environmental issues in Congress.
