Marywood University to Present “An Evening with Guitar”

Marywood University’s music, theatre, and dance department will present its guitar ensemble along with selected student soloists to be featured in an “Evening with Guitar,” on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., in the Marian Chapel, at the Swartz Center for Spiritual Life. This event is free and open to the public.

The guitar ensemble, under the direction of D. Charles Truitt, D.M.A., N.C.T.M., assistant professor of music at Marywood University, will perform works by Susato, Handel, Albinoni, and Kevin Love. Various solos by both classical and jazz guitar will round out the program.
