Marywood University to Host Second Annual Community Leadership Celebration
SCRANTON, PA (April 2, 2015)—Marywood University will host its Second Annual Community Leadership Celebration honoring the Lynett-Haggerty family, which owns and operates Times-Shamrock Communications. The event will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015, in the Center for Athletics and Wellness on the university’s campus.
Committee members for the celebration are: Atty. Patrick J. Brier; Michael Bugno; Barbara Cawley; Mary Ellen Coleman; John Coval; Christopher DiMattio; Dr. Patrick Fricchione; Peter Kilcullen; Lynda Lynett; Mary Ellen McDonough; Tina McGovern; Sister Anne Munley IHM, president of Marywood University; Catherine Quinnan; Antonia Schierling; Sheryl Lynn Sochoka; and Renée Zehel.
The committee for the celebration dinner will focus on helping to foster and enhance the business, corporate, and community partnerships established with the University. Last year’s celebration honoring John Tigue, III, founder and president of TMG Health, Inc., drew more than 600 corporate, philanthropic, and community leaders, along with Marywood Trustees, alumni, and friends.
