Marywood University to Hold Ph.D. Information Session with Newswatch 16’s Ryan Leckey

Marywood University will hold a Ph.D. Information Session with Newswatch 16’s Ryan Leckey, who is a Ph.D. candidate at Marywood and the featured guest. In addition to Ryan, Marywood admissions representatives and faculty from the program will be available to answer questions. The event will take place via webcam, for the convenience of those interested in learning more about Marywood’s online Ph.D. program on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, from 4-5 p.m.

The Ph.D. Program in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies at Marywood University is an interdisciplinary doctoral program designed for professional adults. Marywood accommodates to contemporary busy lifestyles, while providing a cutting-edge, innovative and cost-effective quality education. The Ph.D. program is a completely online program with an executive-type curriculum that is structured for the development of strategic leadership and administrative skills in interdisciplinary, research-oriented doctoral studies.

Ryan Leckey from Newswatch 16, WNEP-TV, and a candidate in the Ph.D. program at Marywood University said, “This program aligns with my passion to challenge myself in a new way, grow professionally, and to hopefully inspire others to crush goals that can sometimes feel scary at first. Just. Don’t. Stop.”

For the past two years, Ryan Leckey only shared his school journey with a close group of friends. In between his full-time job and WNEP’s Ryan’s Run responsibilities, he has also been going to school full-time at Marywood University. Recently, Ryan shared his Ph.D. journey on social media, which prompted inquiries about the program. By sharing his experience, “I’m hoping it’ll be a spark to light a fire for someone else looking to level up.” Ryan said.

Join Ryan Leckey, faculty from the Ph.D. program, and admissions counselors, on February 4, 2020, at 4 p.m., to learn more about the online Ph.D. program, the admissions process, and to further benefit from academic excellence in your career.
