Marywood University to Hold Auditions for “Godspell”

 

SCRANTON, PA (November 21, 2016)-Marywood University’s music, theatre, and dance department will hold auditions for its performance of “Godspell.” Vocal auditions will take place on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, from 8:30-10:30 p.m., and acting auditions will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 7:30-10 p.m. The auditions are open to the public. Vocal auditions are by appointment only. Those wishing to audition can sign up on the bulletin board outside of the Theatre Office, in the Sette LaVerghetta Center, Room 219.

 

The performance of “Godspell” will take place on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4, 2016, in the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts on the University’s campus. The Gospel According to St. Matthew is presented in a series of skits, with songs by Stephen Schwartz, conceived and originally directed by John-Michal Tebelak.
