Marywood University Students Win International Awards in Business Ethics Case Competition

 

SCRANTON, PA (May 6, 2015)—Marywood University undergraduate students recently won awards at the International Business Ethics Case Competition that took place in New Orleans.

 

Marywood students competed against schools from around the world with teams from Europe, Australia, China (Hong Kong), Canada, and the United States in the annual International Ethics Competition. Competing in three events, Marywood’s Ethics team won two and was runner-up in a third. Other collegiate teams competing included Boston College, University of Texas, University of Melbourne, Fordham University, and Marist College.

 

The International Business Ethics Case Competition is one of two competitions that Marywood University students compete in each year; the other is a regional competition, The Business Ethics Bowl Competition at DeSales University. Marywood’s Business Ethics Team was awarded the 2015 undergraduate Grand Champion at the regional competition.
