Tracie L. Pasold, Ph.D., associate professor in the Psychology and Counseling department at Marywood University, was recently named Communications Board Chair for the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA). Dr. Pasold has been involved with the PPA since 2014.

 

“I am thrilled to have been nominated to run for Communications Board Chair for the PPA. The opportunity to serve in this role for another term will allow me the opportunity to continue to forge professional connections and to work alongside colleagues in the important efforts of meeting the needs of the membership and promoting our profession,” Dr. Pasold said.

 

Dr. Pasold’s research interests include: assessment intervention, and prevention of issues in children, adolescents, and families; eating disorders; pediatric/health psychology and behavior medicine; education/training of undergraduate and graduate students and medical residents and professionals.

 

The Pennsylvania Psychological Association is the third largest state association affiliated with the American Psychological Association. Its vision is to promote the science and practice of psychology by supporting psychologist to meet the evolving needs of the public.
