Marywood University Hosts R-Vets Program Graduation

 

SCRANTON, PA (May 29, 2015)—Marywood University recently hosted its spring R-VETS program graduation at the University. The R-VETS program (Renewal-Veteran Education and Transition Services) focuses on providing college access to community and current Marywood student veterans and their spouses. The courses offered include math and academic writing, along with other transitional services, at no cost to veterans or their spouses.

 

Students who completed the program were presented with certificates of completion. Faculty volunteers of the program, Christopher Lynett, academic writing faculty, Scranton, and Anthony Pusateri, math faculty, Clarks Summit, also were presented with certificates of appreciation.

 

The R-VETS program is currently accepting student and faculty applications for the summer and fall sessions. This program is a completely free service.
