Marywood University Hosts Food Drive at Undergraduate Open House to Benefit St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen

SCRANTON, PA (November 1, 2016) – Marywood University’s Office of University Admissions recently held a food drive at its October open house event. More than 200 items were donated by attending students and their families, who were encouraged to bring a canned and non-perishable food item to the open house. All items collected are being donated to St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen in Scranton.

At its November 12, 2016, open house, the Admissions Office will host a Toys-for-Tots drive. Students and their families attending the open house are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
