Marywood University’s Service Committee is holding its fall service project, “Filled with Care,” with a back-to-school focus. The committee is collecting donations of back-to-school supplies including: backpacks, lunch boxes/bags, notebooks, pencils/pens, and art supplies. All supplies will be donated to the Isaac Tripp Elementary School, Scranton, Pa.
Marywood University’s Service Committee previously ran its winter service project, “Filled with Care,” exceeding its goal of donating 100 filled cinch bags with a hand-written inspirational note, benefiting men and women at the Community Intervention Center.
Donations for the Back-to-School service project are being accepted through September 4, 2018. Drop-off locations include: Learning Commons, suite 310; Liberal Arts Center, near the Office of University Admissions; Campus Ministry, in the Swartz Center for Spiritual Life; and Maria Hall.
