Marywood University Arts Galleries to Exhibit Graduate Students’ Works
SCRANTON, PA (November 29, 2017)—Marywood University’s Art Galleries will be exhibiting work by three graduate students from December 2, through January 8, 2018, in the Mahady Gallery, in the Shields Center for Visual Arts. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit and opening reception are free and open to the public.
Featured graduate student artists, Gavin Blackburn, Bloomsburg, Pa., is graduating with his master of fine arts degree in painting; Jennifer M. Peters, Nescopeck, Pa., is graduating with her master of fine arts in sculpture; and David H. Schulte, III, Scranton, Pa., is graduating with his master of fine arts degree in printmaking, as well as his master of arts degree in education.
The Art Gallery hours are Mon/Thurs/Fri, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tues/Wed, from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sat/Sun, from 1-4 p.m. The Galleries follow the Marywood University holiday and winter break schedule.
