Marywood University and SUNY Broome Announce Multiple Articulation Agreements
SCRANTON, PA (March 11, 2016)-Marywood University and SUNY Broome have signed multiple articulation agreements including: SUNY Broome’s Associate in Science: Visual Communication Arts and Marywood University’s Bachelor of Arts: Art Therapy degree; SUNY Broome’s Associate in Science: Visual Communication Arts program and Marywood University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design with an emphasis in Photography, and SUNY Broome’s Visual Communication Arts and Marywood University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design.
These three agreements help to facilitate an easy transfer for SUNY Broome students, and it is predicted that students can earn their bachelor’s degree in two years at Marywood by following the agreement.
Development of articulation agreements with two-year community colleges continues to be a priority of Marywood University, as it eases the transfer process for students in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Marywood University partners with local colleges, such as Lackawanna College and Luzerne Community College, as well as community colleges in New York and New Jersey.
