Marywood University and Lackawanna College to host Feminism Panel and Discussion

 

SCRANTON, PA (October 29, 2015)-Marywood University and Lackawanna College will host a feminism panel and open discussion on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the Upper Main Dining Room, Nazareth Student Center, at Marywood University. This event is free and open to the public.

 

The women’s studies minor program at Marywood University and the women’s literature program at Lackawanna College are sponsoring the panel and discussion on feminism.

 

Administration and faculty panelists for the event include:  Fran Zauhar, Ph.D., dean of the Munley School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Marywood University; Philip Jenkins, Ph.D., associate professor of philosophy at Marywood University; Linda Partridge, associate professor of visual arts at Marywood University; Brian Fanelli, M.F.A., professor of writing and literature at Lackawanna College; and Jennifer Mudge, ASEC program evaluator at Marywood University. Student panelists for the event include:  Marywood University international student from Kurdistan, Poshya Ahmed Kakil, and Lackawanna College student, Kim Graham, Scranton, Pa.
