Marywood University’s School of Architecture to Present Free Lecture Series
Maureen Moran, principal designer for MCLA Architectural Lighting Design, Washington, D.C., will present a lecture titled: “Lighting and Architecture, The Science and Art of Lighting Design,” on Monday, September 29, 2014, at 7 p.m., in the Comerford Theatre, Center for Health and Natural Sciences, on the university’s campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Rab McClure, architect and associate professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts, Richmond, Va., will present a lecture titled: “Soundings, Methodologies of Design and Fabrication,” on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at 7 p.m., in the Comerford Theatre, Center for Health and Natural Sciences, on the university’s campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Susan Peidmont-Palladino, architect, professor, and curator at Virginia Tech, Washington, D.C., and the Washington-Alexandria Architectural Consortium, National Building Museum, Washington, D.C., will present a lecture titled: “Under Construction, Design Build in Architectural Education,” on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 7 p.m., in the Comerford Theatre, Center for Health and Natural Sciences, on the university’s campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Prakash Patel, architect, professional photographer, Prakash Patel Photography, Washington, D.C., will present a lecture titled: “Through My Lens, Professional Architectural Photography,” on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 7 p.m., in the Comerford Theatre, Center for Health and Natural Sciences, on the university’s campus. The lecture is free and open to the public.
