MARYWOOD UNIVERSITY STUDENT RECEIVED THE TODD ROCHE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

Lauren Olsen, graduate student and graduate assistant in the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) department at Marywood University, was recently awarded the Todd Roche Memorial Scholarship for her work with children and adults with autism.

Criteria for the scholarship is based on students who express an interest in careers working with children or adults with autism or who have dedicated part of their volunteer or work experience to teaching, training, or in some capacity helping children or adults with autism.

The Autism Society of Lehigh Valley announced the scholarship award to Lauren prior to the beginning of the spring semester. Lauren, along with five other applicants, was awarded the Todd Roche Scholarship from a pool of 39 applicants.
