Marywood University Students Take Part in Service Trips

SCRANTON, PA—For more than 20 years, Marywood University has partnered with service organizations across the country and the globe, to extend a helping hand and bring hope to people who need it most. Multiple groups from the university travel nationally and internationally for a week of service each year to help build and repair homes, assist in disaster relief, teach children, and support seniors.

During Spring Break, Marywood University students participated in service trips to Ecuador; San Antonio, Texas; New York, N.Y.; Philadelphia, Pa.; and Greenbrier County, W. Va.  When their summer break begins in May, students will travel to Guatemala and Exmore, Va., for service trips in those areas.
