Lakeland High School’s Engineering program just received an $8,000 technology grant from Lockheed Martin. The funds will be used to purchase a new three-dimensional printer that is nine times faster than the current model and prints in color. “This technology allows our students to innovate almost anything they can imagine- from engine parts to ear buds,” says engineering teacher Bill Freeman.
