Lackawanna Trail High School English teacher Mary Zbegnier was notifed recently that her student, Kodi Rozanski, was recognized with a Regional Award in The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2013. The award is presenter by the Allicance for Young Artists & Writers.
Approximately 230,000 pieces were submitted to The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2013 with only about 40% receiving a level of recognition. Rozanski received a Silver Key Award for her short story “The Loss” and an Honorable Mention for her short story “Kisses”.
Kodi is the daughter of Karen and Robert Rozanski, Dalton.
