LTEC Principal Dr. Tania Stoker, Cindy Delaney, Specialist Income Development for American Cancer Society, Desiree Gallagher, Pink Paws for a Cause Co-Ordinator
Cindy Delaney, Specialist, Income Development for the American Cancer Society was presented a check for $8,105.50. The funds were raised by the annual Pink Paws for a Cause fundraiser at the Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center in Factoryville. The check presented by LTEC Principal Dr. Tania Stoker and Desiree Gallagher, Pink Paws for a Cause Co-Ordinator. They monies had been collected through T-Shirts sales, Basket Raffles, donations from community members and a dance for the students of the Center.
The fundraiser began 8 years ago when Lois Foley, Fifth grade teacher at Lackawanna Trail was recovering from breast cancer. Over the years they have collected over $45,000 to help fight cancer.
