At the Lackawanna Trail vs. Dunmore football on November 8, Dunmore Cheerleaders, student body and fans all banded together for a common cause, Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center teacher Lois Foley.  Foley was diagnosed with cancer after an eight year remission from breast cancer.

The Dunmore Cheerleaders held a change drive during homeroom and collected donations at the gate and throughout the stands along with Lackawanna Trail Cheerleaders during the game. A total of $950.00 was collected for the ailing teacher.
