HOLY REDEEMER STUDENTS EARN FRENCH AWARDS
Students at Holy Redeemer High School were recognized for their accomplishments in the 2014 National French Contest, administered by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF). Brianna Scorey earned a third place trophy from the Northeast PA Chapter of the association and a bronze medal for her tenth place national rank in French III. Derek Hamelin received a first place trophy in French II Division C at the chapter level and a bronze medal for fourth place nationally. A number of other students earned a certificate d’honneur (honorable mention) for their performances on the national and chapter levels.
